Pujya Gurudev Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya wrote about 3000 enlighten¬ing books in Hindi on almost all topics concerning human life. His writings carry the force of his enlightened inner self and have the power to let his thoughts reach deep into the minds and hearts of the readers. Each of his books is a milestone, a guiding pillar in the corresponding discipline of knowledge.
Owing to the vast amount of literature available, it becomes imperative that readers get a bird’s eye view of the contents of each of the books that have been published in English. This effort of preparing abstracts for all the books available in English has the following objectives
1. These abstracts will be printed in the form of a booklet so that they can be given as catalog to leading bookstores, educational organizations who will be able to appreciate the variety of topics on which books are available
2. Abstracts will be uploaded into the www.awgp.org website
3. Serves as one-point contact for introducing Gurudev’s literature to new people

The complete works of Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharyaji has been published in 70 vangmays. Each vangmay is a complete encyclopedia on specific topic which is very relevant to all phases of human life for people in all walks of life. The youth group of Bangalore has taken sankalpa to develop expertise on the vangmay. The seemingly impossible task of mastering 70 vangmays is possible with collective effort. A person chooses his own topic of interest and studies that book. The advantages of this endeavor are multi-fold.
1. To develop local expertise on topics covered in vangmay. This in itself is an enriching experience to enhance one’s individual and family life
2. The notes prepared can be used to prepare content for presentations on those topics
3. People excelling in these topics will be given first preference to deliver talks and share their knowledge with wider audience

Just as a diamond on being excavated looks crude and devoid of any luster, each one of us is potent and is a treasure house of divine powers. Every soul brings with it, from previous lives, more or less load of evil tendencies and impressions. Evil thoughts and tendencies cannot exist for long if they are not allowed to consolidate their position in our minds. It is the divine virtues and noble tendencies that form part of our real higher nature; evil tendencies are only aberrations and shadows without substance. When monkeys and bears can be trained to display amazing feats, there is no reason why a raw and crude mind could not be refined and made righteous through regular sadhana.
Sadhana is the key to self-refinement. The importance of this aspect is very well recognized and hence many efforts are being made to encourage sadhana.
Gayatri Mantra Japa (along with Param Pujya Gurudev’s voice that contains all the 4 levels of speech namely Para, Pashyanti, Madhyama and Vaikhari).
You can join this Collective Mantra Japa Sadhana at any of the addresses mentioned below on Sunday from 6.30 AM to 7.30 AM.
