2011-2012 is the birth centenary year of one of the most prolific writer, philosopher, seer-savant, freedom fighter, a saint, scholar, scientist and founder of All World Gayatri Pariwar - Pujya Gurudev Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya.Contribute | Join UsPt. Shriram Sharma Acharya, the founder of Gayatri Pariwar fraternity, was a pioneer of spiritual renaissance. He gave the message and assurance of the imminent advent of a Golden era on earth when love, peace, good will and understanding will reign supreme in human life. His personality was a harmonious blend of a saint, spiritual scientist, yogi, philosopher, psychologist, writer, reformer, freedom fighter, researcher, eminent scholar and visionary. He revealed a new life transforming significance of Gayatri Mahamantra and made it available to all humanity, cutting across the barriers of race, caste, creed and sex. He took a solemn pledge at the age of mere 15 years to perform twenty four Gayatri Manapurushcharans (a very tough and demanding penance) along with several self imposed restrains for twenty four years and fulfilled it without faltering. In between his penance he contributed actively in the Indian freedom movement. INDIA is a young country and the power of youth should be channelized positively in to make India a superpower. The Youth constitute the most creative segment of the society and deserve to be promoted as the torch bearers. The main objective behind the event is to kindle the spark of nationalism.
The program is being organized under the guidance of Honorable Dr. Pranav Pandya, Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar and Director, Brahmvarchas Research Centre, Shantikunj, Haridwar.

This is an information portal of Bangalore chapter of All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP). AWGP is a socio-spiritual non-profit organisation with headquarters at Shantikunj, Haridwar, Uttaranchal, India. The organization is devoted to cultural, ethical, moral, and spiritual awakening of India and was formed by Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya , an eminent scholar, freedom-fighter, social reformer, visionary and erudite writer.
All World Gayatri Pariwar is a world-wide family of people who follow the principles of Gayatri - the symbol of righteous knowledge, pure intelligence & selfless service. AWGP is a large organization devoted to thought transformation movement, dissemination of scientific spirituality, and social and cultural reformation and elevation of the whole world with collective participation of awakened souls. AWGP was founded by Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya , a noted saint, scholar and reformer in 1958.
AWGP is one of the largest volunteer based mission in the world and has reached out to millions of people from all walks of life. The organization focuses on various programmes for uplifting society and quality of human life like, teaching yoga and Sadhana to awaken divinity in people, improving health of all through Ayurveda and Yagyopathy, women empowerment and awakening, protection of environment through tree plantation programmes and Yagya, eradication of evil customs & deliverance from addictions and so on.
The Bangalore Branch of AWGP is devoted to socio-spiritual awakening in Bangalore and other regions of Karnataka. It undertakes several programs to propagate the ideals of the mission through activities like organization of book exhibitions and lectures at various public places and corporate houses, organization of seminars, conducting Yagya and other samskaras and so on. Yug Shakti Gayatri Kendra is the local centre of activities in Bangalore. The Youth Group of Gayatri Pariwar, Bangalore publishes a weekly e-publication called Pragya Sandesh presenting illuminating thoughts for contemplation and anecdotes and a summary of upcoming activities.
